
IDLab and Iran University of Science and Technology Launch a Series of Educational Seminars for Young Researchers
The first seminar of the new educational cycle, organized by the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy (IDLab) of HSE University jointly with the Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), took place on October 31, 2025.The series of events is aimed at developing young researchers' skills in preparing and publishing academic articles. The first seminar was dedicated to the literature review - both traditional and AI-driven methods of conducting it. The event was held within the framework of the HSE University's "International Academic Cooperation" project and gathered around 30 participants - PhD students and students from Russia and Iran.

An Advanced Econometrics Striving for Causality professional development course was held at HSE University - Perm
The International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy at HSE University conducted a professional development course titled "Advanced Econometrics: Striving for Causality" as part of the "International Academic Cooperation" project. The course was held online from September 24 to October 22, 2025, and consisted of ten academic sessions distributed over six weeks of intensive training.

Employees of the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy from the HSE — Perm took part in the V International Pacific School-Conference on Experimental Economics held at Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) from September 21 to October 1, 2025.

Strategic Choice in Cybersport: Egor Ivanov spoke at the IDLab seminar
On June 27, Egor Ivanov, a research assistant, presented a report at the regular scientific seminar of the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy. He presented the results of his joint research with Mariya Molodchik, Petr Parshakov, and Evgeniya Shenkman, titled "Strategic Choice in eSports: An Analysis of Team Decisions During Map Vetoes."

HSE University in Perm hosted a seminar on the RSF project "Comparative Analysis of AI and Real Individuals in Economic Decisions."

Math and Cybersport: IDLab Researchers at the MathSport International 2025 Conference
From June 4 to 6, 2025, the MathSport International 2025 conference took place at the University of Luxembourg. Researchers from around the globe gathered to discuss the application of mathematical methods to the analysis of sports, ranging from soccer to cyber sports. More than 100 papers were presented in total, including two studies by young IDLab specialists.

IDLab at the XII Scientific Conference “Neighbors in Research”: summarizing the results
On the 21st of April at the Perm campus of the National Research University Higher School of Economics the XII scientific conference "Neighbors in Research" took place, which brought together many scientists from Russian and foreign universities. Researchers of the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy of the Perm campus of the National Research University Higher School of Economics actively participated in the conference - more than 10 reports were presented in 9 sections. We summarise the results and share the impressions of the participants.

IDLab researchers of the Higher School of Economics - Maria Molodchik, Anna Davii, Egor Ivanov, Nikita Matkin, Mikhail Usanin and Alexey Smirnov took part in the XXV Yasin (April) International Academic Conference. The anniversary conference was held at the Moscow campus of the Higher School of Economics on April 15-18, 2025 as part of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia program.
