Workshop IDLab and ECOBAS: The Impact of Credit Supply on the Capital Structure of SMEs in Spain
On October 4, 2024, the IDLab laboratory of HSE Perm, in collaboration with the School of Economics and Business at the University of Vigo (ECOBAS), held a workshop dedicated to studying the impact of credit supply on the capital structure of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Spain. The main speaker of the event was Diego Ayres, who presented a report titled "The Impact of Credit Supply on the Capital Structure of SMEs in Spain" — a joint study with Ángel Barajas.

Strategic Decisions in Esports: Insights from the IDLab Workshop
On September 20, 2024, a research on strategic decisions of teams in cyber sports matches was presented at the IDLab workshop. The paper was introduced by Egor Ivanov, an IDLab research assistant, and coauthored by Maria Molodchik, Petr Parshakov, and Evgenia Shenkman. They studied how professional cybersports teams make decisions when choosing which cards to exclude from the game and which to select.

International Workshop "Political Economy of Development: Challenges and Perspectives"
From 29th October to 1st November Anna Bykova, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance and research fellow of the IDLab, participated in the International Workshop "Political Economy of Development: Challenges and Perspectives", which was organized by the International Center for the Study of Institutions and Development (HSE) in cooperation with The College of Humanity and Social Sciences (CHSS) at UAE University and New York University Abu Dhabi.
Cross-regional studies: call for participation in the project
The International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy (HSE) under supervision of prof. Dennis Coates and in collaboration with the Center for Institutional Studies (HSE) under supervision by Elena Podkolzina, researcher Irina Mirkina, and Olga Demidova (HSE-Moscow), is announcing the launch of the new project devoted to Cross-regional studies. The project is aimed at expanding research based on Russian data.

On February 23, 2018 in The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (US) associate professor of Economics and Finance Department, research fellow of IDLab Anna Bykova at research workshop presented the results of joint research with prof. Dennis Coates entitled “Economic freedom and firm performance: evidence from Russian companies”.
