
Math and Cybersport: IDLab Researchers at the MathSport International 2025 Conference
From June 4 to 6, 2025, the MathSport International 2025 conference took place at the University of Luxembourg. Researchers from around the globe gathered to discuss the application of mathematical methods to the analysis of sports, ranging from soccer to cyber sports. More than 100 papers were presented in total, including two studies by young IDLab specialists.

On May 6, 2025, the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy (IDLab) hosted a workshop titled "Cooking Up Your First Research," which covered the fundamentals of preparing your first scientific publication. The event attracted over 20 participants, ranging from IDLab trainees to seasoned researchers.

Artificial Intelligence and Financial Risk Management: IDLab Seminar
On May 16, 2025, the International Laboratory for the Economics of Intangible Assets (IDLab) hosted another session of its regular academic seminar series, featuring guest speaker Dr. Michael Appiah, Associate Professor at the School of Management and the Department of Finance and Economics at Jiangsu University (China), and Director of Dorstell Research & Consultancy. In his presentation, Dr. Appiah shared the findings of his research on financial risk management in OECD countries, focusing on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) innovation, technological infrastructure, and regulatory quality.

Evaluation of Self-Employed Services in the Creative Industries of the Perm Region - IDLab at the IX International SEM Conference
On May 16, the IX International Scientific and Practical Online Conference for Students, Masters, and Postgraduates of SEM 'Effective Growth Models: Economy, Finance, and Managementtook place. IDLab research assistant Egor Nazarovskiy spoke at the conference.

IDLab implements a joint project with Iran University of Science and Technology on intellectual resources research
The joint project of the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy of the National Research University Higher School of Economics - Perm and the research team of Iran University of Science and Technology is aimed at studying the role of intellectual resources for internationalization of companies from developing countries in the conditions of exogenous shocks. It became one of the winners of the contest “International Academic Cooperation” of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.

IDLab employees successfully performed at the International Conference “Spring Science Days”
The Institute of Economics and Management at the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia, Boris Yeltsin, hosted the IX International Conference of Students and Young Scientists, called "Spring Days of Science", from 22 to 26 April 2025. The event was attended by young employees from IDLab, who presented six scientific reports.

IDLab Scientists and researchers participated as members of the jury at the Scientific and Practical Conference on Economics for Schoolchildren
On 23 April, the annual economics conference was held, with more than 20 schoolchildren in attendance from lyceums, gymnasiums and schools in Perm. International Laboratory staff members Maria Molodchik, Egor Ivanov and Mikhail Usanin were responsible for serving as jury members. All the reports were commended for their high-quality preparation, vivid performance and excellent answers to questions.

IDLab at the XII Scientific Conference “Neighbors in Research”: summarizing the results
On the 21st of April at the Perm campus of the National Research University Higher School of Economics the XII scientific conference "Neighbors in Research" took place, which brought together many scientists from Russian and foreign universities. Researchers of the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy of the Perm campus of the National Research University Higher School of Economics actively participated in the conference - more than 10 reports were presented in 9 sections. We summarise the results and share the impressions of the participants.

The anniversary conference was held at the Moscow campus of the Higher School of Economics on April 15-18, 2025 as part of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia program.
