The collective monograph "Russian Corporations in the New Reality: Financial Strategies on the Path to Antifragility" has been published by the publishing house of the National Research University Higher School of Economics. It was prepared by a group of scholars and practitioners in financial management. One of the chapters was written by researchers from the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy at the Perm campus – Senior Researcher Marina Zavertiaeva and Junior Researcher Dmitry Kirpishchikov.

On November 1, an online research seminar organized by the international laboratory IDLab took place, during which research assistant Nikita Matkin presented a study on the popularity and content of videos on the topic of "happiness" among Russian psychologists. The seminar gathered students and scholars not only from Perm but also from Moscow, attracting the interest of a wide audience.

AI Against Burnout: IDLab Assistants Present Research on Using Artificial Intelligence to Identify Professional Exhaustion
On October 28 in Moscow, at a seminar hosted by the HSE Laboratory of Sports Research, young researchers from IDLab, Mikhail Usanin and Alexey Smirnov, presented a report titled "AI-based Approach to Burnout Identification and Its Implication for Performance in eSports." The research, co-authored with Marina Zavertiaeva, Petr Parshakov, Sofia Paklina, and Anastasia Kibardina, reveals an innovative approach to identifying burnout using artificial intelligence (AI) within the esports industry.

At the end of October, the Higher School of Economics hosted the Fall Into ML 2024 conference, organized jointly with the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of Sberbank. This annual event served as a platform for leading experts from Sberbank, AIRI, Skoltech, HSE, and other research centers and companies to discuss the latest approaches in the application of artificial intelligence. For the first time, researchers from the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy (IDLab) presented their research findings at such a high-level conference.

“The Sports Economics Workshop at the iCare Conference has become a tradition”
The concluding events of the 11th International Conference on Applied Economics, iCare, included the workshop "Game On: Insights into Performance, Perception, and Strategy in Sports and Esports," organized by the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy at HSE Perm, and the expert session "Researching Creative Industries in the Perm Region". The wide range of topics presented allowed for a better understanding of behavioral strategies not only in esports but also in other areas of the economy, while unique data provided different perspectives on economic issues.

Workshop IDLab and ECOBAS: The Impact of Credit Supply on the Capital Structure of SMEs in Spain
On October 4, 2024, the IDLab laboratory of HSE Perm, in collaboration with the School of Economics and Business at the University of Vigo (ECOBAS), held a workshop dedicated to studying the impact of credit supply on the capital structure of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Spain. The main speaker of the event was Diego Ayres, who presented a report titled "The Impact of Credit Supply on the Capital Structure of SMEs in Spain" — a joint study with Ángel Barajas.
