IDSchool - Day 3

The 16th of June was started with interesting presentation of the Summer School Director – Marina Zavertiaeva. She presented the results of her paper conducted in collaboration with Felix Iturriaga and Eugenia Kuminova about the influence of Chief Executive Officer on company’s innovation activity. 

On coffee-break organizers and participants congratulated SS tutor and one of the international professors of IDLab Felix Iturriaga. We gifted him a book about Perm region and shared a big cake to celebrate this great day!

After that Felix presented his paper on the relationship between dividend policy and company’s growth opportunities. This paper can be used as a good example of not complicated but very accurate methodology. Then, after lunch we had a presentation of research of Mariia Molodchik and Carlos Jardon. Their presentation was on impact of human capital on the level of company’s internalization. Participants also had work in small groups and individually with tutors. We hope that all participants get useful comments.

At the end of the day we had presentation of Angel Barajas on how to get published. He explained the main reasons of paper being rejected. Avoiding these mistakes should make the process of publication the paper easier and more quickly. He concluded by the good news about his paper being accepted to the journal. It is also a good reason to celebrate!

We had a long but very productive day. We hope that papers presented today will be published soon and the papers published will be cited.
