IDSchool - Day 1

At June 14th the 3rd International Summer School on Intangible-driven economy that is organized by International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy (IDLab) has started. Participants and professors from 7 different countries came to Ust’-Kachka.

The School was opened by its director Marina Zavertiaeva. She introduced Summer School Faculty and organizing committee and wished to all participants to get new knowledge, develop their own research and find new co-authors. She also noticed that educational part of the Summer School will contain lectures of the Faculty, workshops of IDLab and work on individual research.

Then the head of IDLab, Elena Shakina, and its scientific advisor, Angel Barajas, presented the history, research lines and the team of the Laboratory. Only 3 persons in 2010 started to make research on intangibles in Perm campus of HSE. Now the team of the Laboratory has around 20 researchers. Elena and Angel also told about the definition of intangibles and their structure.

After the dinner Mariia Molodchik organized so-called IDSchool Lego game. Participants discussed their research areas, expectations from the School and developed the model of the School with the help of Lego.

During the 2nd day participants will know more about the effect of intangibles in after-crisis recovery, extend their knowledge on panel data, participate in discussing work-in progress and present the ideas of their research. In the evening they will have teambuilding event in a very unusual form!
