IDLab Workshop "Learn how to find literature effectively"
On April 10, 2024, IDLab research assistant Anastasia Kireechva and Darya Usmanova conducted a workshop on conducting literature reviews for junior interns of the laboratory and all interested parties. The workshop was part of the student seminar series "Cooking up your first research."
During the workshop, Anastasia and Darya thoroughly discussed the stages of conducting a literature review and explained its role in research. They also demonstrated the initial steps to begin with and talked about tools/resources for finding relevant sources, including AI tools.

It was a good, informative master class that was engaging and concise. We were introduced to a variety of different tools for collecting and reviewing literature. My colleague and I have started using Litmaps and Semantic Scholar, which has simplified our work.
