Students of the bachelor's program in International Business and Management at the HSE University-St. Petersburg presented the results of the study "The role of the early adopters in the diffusion of blockchain technology: a case study of the large companies in Russia"

This time, the students of the HSE-SPb International Business and Management bachelor's program Polina Krasikova, Diana Krasnopolskaya and Svetlana Razmakhina spoke at the IDLab workshop. The study "The role of the early adopters in the diffusion of blockchain technology: a case study of the large companies in Russia" is conducted under the supervision of Anna Daviy, an IDLab member. The authors explore the diffusion of blockchain technology in its early stages through analysis of the influence of early adopters on other market players' behavior. For analysis of this technology diffusion, the authors choose the theory of institutional isomorphism because of the specificity of blockchain. The main source of data is planned in-depth interviews with representatives of Russian large companies: adopters of technology, prospective adopters, opponents and launchers of technical implementation.
