Timofey Shvaya took part in ROSES

On September 8, the one hundred and thirty-eighth online seminar on sport economics seminar hosted by the University of Reading, initiated in the time of coronavirus, as a means for researchers in the field to present their work, and interact with like-minded scholars on a regular basis during lockdowns and social distancing and isolation around the world.

Timofey Shvaya was the youngest participant at this event.

The presented study investigates the "diversification vs specialization" strategic choice dilemma in the face of exogenous shocks, using the resilience concept. The study focuses on the E-sport industry, particularly the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, as a dynamic platform to test diversification strategies and organizational resilience. Empirical analysis highlights the importance of some strategy variables and team composition variables.
