Michael Usanin, Petr Parshakov and Irina Maximova presented the study “Topic modeling by ESG-reports”.

The outcomes of the study presented at the IDLab workshop are as follows. As a result of the modeling topic, researchers got 10 topics, each of which is given a short name (Social: Personal data protection; Ecological: Using sustainable energy resources etc.). From 2010 to 2021, the largest decrease in the share of a topic in company reports was found in the “Decision-making on board”: -13%. The largest growth for the period under review was seen in the topic “Sustainable Supply Chain Management”: +9%. The topic “Sustainable and responsible resource usage” became the most stable in terms of share changes.
