We invite you to participate in the seminar "Sport Analytics: Exploring Economic and Managerial Insights" within the framework of the international conference iCare

In 2023, the traditional HSE-Perm International Conference on Applied Research in Economics (iCare) will be held as a series of events. One of these events will be the seminar "Sport Analytics: Exploring Economic and Managerial Insights", organized by the International Laboratory for Intangible-driven economy (IDLab).

The workshop will take place on May 23, 2023.
Workshop topics include, but are not limited to, the following research areas:

• Economic analysis of sports: the economics of sports, sports as an industry, the impact of sports on local and national economies, the economics of sporting events.
• Sports management decision-making: search and recruitment of players, team building and strategy, interaction with fans, as well as sponsorship and advertising.
• Data analytics and sports: the use of statistical methods and machine learning methods in sports, problems of data collection and analysis in sports, ethical aspects of sports research.We invite you to take part in the event.
