Elena Shakina presented a new study "Productivity effect of IT technologies: synthetic control analysis"

The study is devoted to the topical issue of the effectiveness of IT implementation in Russian companies. The authors of the paper - Elena Shakina, Anna Daviy and Mariia Molodchik - used an advanced synthetic control method to compare the effectiveness of the implementation of IT products of Russian and foreign vendors for a number of technologies, such as ERP and HRM. Preliminary results show a significant heterogeneity of the effect both in terms of vendors and IT technologies.
