Presentation at the conference of the European Association for the Economics of Sport ESEA

Petr Parshakov, Deputy Head of IDLab, presented the report "Choking under pressure in online and live competitions".

The study is devoted to the well-known phenomenon of choking under pressure, but focuses on the topical issue of the difference between this effect online and offline, and was carried out on eSports data. This study was conducted by employees of two laboratories of the HSE University - IDLab (Petr Parshakov and Iuliia Naidenova) and the Laboratory of Sport Studies (Gleb Vasiliev and Igor Tylkin)
