Grigory Teplykh presented new results of his research "Exploring the multiple role of state ownership for firm innovations in emerging markets: the Russian case"
The study examines a comprehensive model of how state ownership affects innovation in Russian companies. Different types of innovations and various channels of influence are considered: direct impact on innovation efforts and knowledge production, as well as indirect effects through internal and external factors. The study raises the question of the optimal degree of government involvement in the development of STI in emerging economies.
