Elena Zelenskaya presented a new study "The efficiency of the performing arts: Evidence from data envelopment analysis for Russian theaters"

A study by Elena Zelenskaya and Elena Shakina sheds some light on the evaluation of efficiency in the performing arts. It adopts a well-established data envelopment analysis, implementing it in three steps starting from data transformation and cluster analysis, followed by the estimation of production function and efficiency scores, and then identifying efficiency drivers.
