Dmitry Kirpishchikov presented the results of a review of studies on corporate governance in the BRICS countries

The project is dedicated to the review of studies, focused on research on corporate Boards of directors in BRICS countries. The existent studies have been divided tby four main research lines: (1) the influence of directors personal traits on corporate results; (2) social capital of Boards; (3) the quality of corporate governance, influenced by Boards quality; (4) the interaction between CEO and board. The findings of the empirical papers are supported by the analysis of statistics, presented in Spencer Stuart Board Index Reports, and the requirements of the National Corporate Governance Codes.
