Felix Iturriaga, professor at the University of Valladolid (Spain) and a leading researcher at IDLab, presented the results of a study on the impact of a director's social capital on the risk level of Russian companies

The study examines the social capital created as a result of professional, political and educational connections. The results show that having a director with such a resource as social capital allows the company to take higher risks.
